Logline: A documentary crew follows an idealistic and naïve judge, newly appointed to the bench, as he works to implement progressive criminal justice reform, while facing a politically ambitious and shrewd “tough on crime” prosecutor, self-absorbed colleagues, and a constant stream of bizarre crimes undermining his goal.
